With over 30 years experience hunting black bear, we offer fully guided 7 day black bear hunts in zones A & zone C over bait. Our baits are located on public and private property. We focus on quality hunts vs. quantity of hunters. We do 2 weeks of hunting. For 2024 we will be taking hunters September 4 - September 10th and  September 11- September 17th. We take 7 hunters a week and we fill up fast. We take on less hunters so we can provide you with a 100% opportunity of the best quality hunt possible. A homemade supper meal is provided every evening after the hunt. Our hunts are $1650. A deposit of $825 reserves your spot. The deposit is non-refundable. The balance of $825 is due upon arrival. You will need a valid WI bear hunting license as well as a kill tag. We start baiting on June 1st of every year, until the end of season. We provide an over bait hunt on a active, well maintained bait site. All the baits are 15 - 20 yards from a ladder stand or ground blind. We will track, recover, transport, skin, quarter and cool your prize bear. We have freezer space right at bear camp. We cater the hunt to the hunter, accommodating your weapon of choice. Rifle, bow, crossbow, muzzleloader or pistol. We have some bait sites with easy access however, most are in remote areas. We provide ground blinds and ladder stands. You will be taken to a active bait site and have an alternate bait site available if needed. Make your shot count. A wounded bear is considered a completed hunt weather or not the bear is recovered. We ask that you arrive by 10 a.m. the first day of the hunt. We will have a short orientation before you head to the stand for the afternoon hunt. Our hunting grounds are about a 45 minute drive away. Some of our baits have cell service and some do not. But at most sites you can get a text to go thru to let us know you shot your bear. We hunt in the evenings. We will leave camp by 11:00 and try to have everyone in their stands by 1:00. You are welcome to take snacks with you but please pick up any wrappers and keep the bait sites clean. You will be picked up at dark and a supper meal is provided every evening.
